Temporary Measures to Myanmar through Air Travel has been extended up to 30 September 2021 !

Extension of Effective Period of Temporary Measures to Prevent Importation of COVID-19 to Myanmar through Air Travel [Issue-2]

  1. The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has issued Circular 13/2021 on 30 August 2021 to inform all airlines operating international air services to and from Myanmar that the effective period of the Temporary Measures to Prevent Importation of COVID-19 to Myanmar through Air Travel (Issue-2) put in place on 31 December 2020 by the Ministry of Health and Sports. These Temporary Measures are currently effective up to 30 September 2021 23:59 Hours Myanmar Standard Time (MST).
  2. In order to continue to contain effectively the spread of COVID-19 to Myanmar through air travel, the National Central Commitee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 has approved the further extension of the effective period of the aforementioned Temporary Measures up to 31 October 2021 23:59 Hours MST.
  3. Accordingly, DCA requires all airlines operating international air services to and from Myanmar to take note of this information for appropriate actions, as required.
